To strengthen our team in Eddyville,
we are looking for you as a(n) Packaging Technician.
Packaging Technician is responsible for all finished product packaging duties including cleaning/sanitation of packaging areas, proper documentation, small packaging machine operation, supersack machine operation, required sampling, labeling, material handling, and monitoring supply of necessary packaging materials.
Position Responsibilities:
- Operate small packaging line for small bag packaging orders
- Operate supersack filling machine for big bag packaging orders
- Complete and document required cleaning and sanitation duties according to sanitation schedule
- Complete packaging order documentation
- Confirm and apply proper labels to packaged materials
- Handle material movement for required packaging supplies and finished goods
- Monitor and replace inventory of packaging related items
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of packaging experience preferred
- Knowledge of food GMPs and hygiene practices
