Work Locations:With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).

Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description

An Associate Designer is a creative professional who works under the guidance of a Design Creative Director to execute best-in-class static design for A+E marketing content.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Execute brand and series campaign design elements including but not limited to:
    • Key art
    • Logo design
    • Print and OOH
    • Paid social and digital advertising campaigns
    • Branded collateral
    • Press kits
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Designers.
  • Participate in various design projects from concept to completion.
  • Receive, interpret and execute effectively against all feedback to hone skills and improve design.
  • Work to fulfill multiple projects, delivery schedules, and campaign elements -including needs for broadcast, off channel/paid media, affiliate, PR, and consumer products.
  • Meet design goals within the context of your assignments.

THE SKILLS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with industry standard file formats and deliverables for both Print/Online Advertising.
  • Proficient in color theory, typography, textures, and spatial relationships.
  • Familiarity with motion graphic a plus.

YOUR STORY

  • 2-3 years' experience designing key art within the film/TV/media/entertainment industry.
  • Ability to tell a powerful storythrough still images.
  • Can multitask handling a largevolume of work and be able to pivoteffectively.
  • Present and articulate ideasand issues to the team effectively.
  • Can receive, interpret, and execute effectively against allfeedback.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proven team player.
  • Strong communication skills.

CompensationHourly Pay Range: $28.23 - $34.78Annual Incentive Target: 5%


Theannual/hourlypay range displayed serves as agood faith estimate of the

minimum and maximumbasepayrangefor this role.Compensation for the role will

be based ona number of differentfactors such asa candidate's qualifications, skills,
