Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, the Senior Director, Digital is Enterprise Community Partners' principal digital strategist and leader, an experienced professional interfacing with external vendors, internal partners, and executive leadership to shape Enterprise's omnichannel digital strategy. A new position, this role will oversee all of Enterprise's principal digital channels -- including web, email, social, and paid media -- and will develop a holistic vision and strategy for our digital platforms, improve audience engagement, ensure strong partnership across programs and business lines, coordinate among a constellation of stakeholders, and identify opportunities to strengthen the integrated audience experience.

This hands-on position will partner with internal stakeholders to develop, optimize, and implement audience-first digital strategies supporting organizational priorities and delivering on robust KPIs - supporting our diverse lines of business, advocacy efforts, and thought leadership across the country. The Senior Director, Digital will oversee staff and vendors, providing meaningful analysis and recommendations promoting data-driven decision making. They will be the primary internal partner to Enterprise's centralized IT and data and analytics groups, aligning with them to create a stable, robust, and integrated marketing communications platform; they will also partner with division senior leaders on digital strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is comfortable presenting to C-suite leaders and business partners, with deep expertise in all key digital disciplines, equally adept at tackling big strategic digital initiatives as with getting their hands into the data and improving supporting technologies.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop audience-first vision, strategy, and roadmap for digital platform transformation.
  • Provide vision and leadership to the Resource Development and Communications team as well as leaders from across Enterprise on digital strategies that engage existing audiences and grow our national constituency of supporters and allies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver on their needs while also serving as a critical thought partner in their larger ambitions.
  • Provide strategic input for the future of digital marketing and communications; define, recommend, and oversee implementation of digital solutions to business goals.
  • In partnership with colleagues across the team, define and lead digital campaigns that support fundraising, investor engagement, and advocacy, as well as broader brand elevation.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the marketing team to strategize, plan and roll out new campaign initiatives. Envision Lead new digital campaigns and transform them into concrete, integrated, channel-specific plans.
  • Continually improve digital operations through strengthening workflows, processes, and documentation to serve digital priorities across Enterprise divisions.
  • Lead critical agency partnerships, oversee consultancy budgets, and ensure efficient use of Enterprise resources.
  • Partner with staff and agencies on key digital optimization initiatives such as a UX Audit and targeted enhancements of EnterpriseCommunity.org, increasing our use of marketing automation, and building an ongoing testing and measurement program.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Resource Development and Communications department, IT, our data and analytics team, and other units and divisions across Enterprise, representing digital strategies, best practices, and opportunities to help build digital capacity across the organization.
  • Mentor and manage staff.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of digital strategy, channel, or operational leadership overseeing multiple digital workstreams/channels in a complex, fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.S.), or equivalent degree
  • 5-10 years of direct people management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing strategies to build, segment and engage audiences.
  • Proven experience serving as an in-house consultant to other teams, understanding their needs and advising them on digital approaches to meet their business goals.
  • Hands-on experience with common digital engagement technologies such as Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Classy and Cvent, plus testing and analytics technologies
  • Strong understanding of constituent engagement metrics, benchmarking, and goal setting, with analytical mindset and a love of data-driven insights
  • Experience driving team activities with multiple marketing channels, including channel integration, compliance, and data privacy considerations for each.
  • Excellent project management skills, with fast-evolving priorities and tight timelines
  • Experience managing internal teams and external vendors to support execution of workplan.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to achieve results aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent diplomacy, and service-oriented approach
  • Team player who brings a positive attitude and can-do approach to their work

The base salary for this role is $150,000 to $155,000, depending on level of skills and experience.

The salary range for this position is represented by the low and high end of the range for the amount to be paid for the position. Salaries paid at Enterprise will vary based on factors that may include skills, education, location, experience, and performance. The salary range is just a part of the total rewards package provided to employees at Enterprise, and other rewards may include annual performance bonuses and generous paid leave programs.
